Providence Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapist – Partial Hospital/Intensive Outpatient Program – Portland Metro in Molalla, Oregon
Providence is calling Behavioral Health Therapists (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) to work in Outpatient and Partial Intensive Outpatient Services in the Portland Metro and surrounding areas.
We have full time, part time, and on-call positions working with various patient populations (Child/Adolescent, and Adult).
In this position, you will:
Independently practice in an evaluation or treatment setting dedicated to evaluation and treatment of psychiatric and substance use disorders.
Collaborate with patient/support system in evaluating, diagnosing patients utilizing current edition Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, and/or provide specialized psychotherapy services as described in CPT to reduce and /or resolve symptoms of psychiatric and/or substance use disorders identified.
Utilize established approaches and standards to complete assessment of patient risk to self and/or others, complete and implement risk reduction/mitigation plans to ensure patient and community safety.
Incorporate evidence based approaches in psychotherapy including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and the Recovery Model.
Demonstrate effectiveness in assessment and diagnosis, including crisis evaluations, individual, group and family psychotherapy, and multi-modal treatment settings.
Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities of advanced social work practice and shall perform duties in a manner that respects patient self-determination, reduces health disparities/barriers to care, and adheres to the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) code of ethics, Standards of Practice (SOP), and the Providence mission.
Required qualifications for this position include:
2 years of post-Master’s experience in a behavioral health treatment setting
LCSW, LPC or LMFT licensure with the state of Oregon or CSWA, LPCI, or LMFT Intern with appropriate board approved plan of supervision.
