Providence is calling an Assistant - Central Supply - Materials Management (1.0 FTE, Days Full-Time) to Benedictine Nursing Center in Mount Angel, OR

We are seeking an Assistant - Central Supply - Materials Management that will be performed on a full-time basis as scheduled each week. It is this position's job to receive and distribute all resident and nursing supplies. Organize the supply department, prepare the stock, assist with computer entries, oxygen tanks, other supplies, linens and equipment.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Receive nursing orders and prepare deliveries in a timely manner
Deliver supplies as requested
Effectively communicate with staff to meet their supply needs
Maintain adequate stock levels on nursing units
Process delivery packing slips and accurately document for all goods received and submit documents to Purchasing Clerk on a daily basis
Monitor storeroom inventory levels daily and submit purchase requests in a timely manner
Has knowledge of shipping procedures to assist with returns as necessary
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Supply or warehouse experience
General knowledge of calculator functions
Medical supply terminology
