Providence Health & Services Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Health in Mount Angel, Oregon
Providence is calling a Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Health (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Salem Home Services in Salem, OR.
In this position, you will:
Provide quality nursing care in a nursing center and their homes under the direction of a Nurse Case Manager or Clinical Supervisor following the established nursing process and procedures, and in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
Perform all duties in compliance with all applicable State and Federal regulations and in compliance with all regulatory bodies.
License Practical Nurses (LPNs) working in Home Health require 25% to 35% of time on daily travel.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) for Provider Certification or obtained within 60 days of hire
Valid drivers license and a driving record consistent with Safe Driving Policy 330 Incident Point Matrix at time of hire
2 years of patient care experience in a skilled nursing facility or medical clinic
In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), a criminal background check is required for this position
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Experience in Acute Care, Home Health or Public Health nursing
