Providence is calling a Receptionist PLC - Benedictine Assisted Living (0.75 FTE, Day Shift) to Benedictine Nursing Center in Mount Angel, OR.

We are seeking a Receptionist - Benedictine Assisted Living who will be responsible for greeting the public and answering phones. Performs clerical functions supporting daily operations
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Identify residents calling with medically urgent needs and responds appropriately.
Make transportation and appointment arrangements as needed, and prepares necessary paperwork for appointments.
Print, audit, and distribute the daily appointment schedules. Reconcile any scheduling errors.
Demonstrate a professional, courteous, and supportive demeanor.
Verify managed care residents are eligible for medical services by contacting the Case Manager.
Prior to admit, add standing orders list - all medications (name, dose, route, number of times to be given), diet, allergies, code status, and diagnosis. Fax to physician
Process admissions according to established procedure.
When change in medication occur, fax to pharmacy, add to med sheet, add to front of medication book if needed, and add to lists inside medication book. After RN Case Manager has added times to Med Sheet, fax to pharmacy with face sheet and date needed.
Compare new Med Sheet at the end of the each month with the previous months in the med book. Make changes and notify pharmacy of changes
Enhance professional growth and development through in-service meetings, education programs, conferences, etc.
Greet visitors and provides direction and assistance as needed.
Required qualifications for this position includes:
High School Diploma -OR- GED
Customer service experience
Microsoft Office experience
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
Training in use of word processing spreadsheet and database programs or computer.
In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), a criminal background check is required for this position.
